Spectrum Security Group has developed the most comprehensive nationwide background screening system at a fraction of the cost of our competitors.  We call it our SAFE YOUTH CHECK(TM) Our system brings together all of the important aspects of a successful risk management plan into one system for any size organization.

Primary Goal

To offer an additional level of safety to your young athletes by identifying coaches and other volunteers that have a criminal history. Parents have the undeniable right to know that if any adult has a relevant criminal history, he or she will be prevented from coaching their children. 

Why is this necessary?

In Utah alone the Department of Corrections has reported that we have 8,000 sex offenders and 30% of them are non-compliant. Due to lack of enforcement in Utah of state and federal law, Utah is becoming a potential safe haven for sex offenders from around the nation as reported by KSL News on November 12, 2004. As reported in by channel 2 news (Nov. ’06); Utah is in the top 5of nation for most sex offenders per-capita.

Nationwide Criminal Search

Our Safe Youth Check is the industry’s most sought after instant criminal database product.  Our data information is the most robust and freshest criminal information available.  This data includes sex offender information in 52 territories and 27 National and International Security sources, at no extra charge.  The Safe Youth Check is used by hundreds as the first line of defense in protecting their organizations.

Therapeutic Escorts

Therapeutic escorts - which involve safely transporting a troubled adolescent to a safe environment - are a highly specialized form of protective escort.  Consequently, agents who are used for therapeutic escorts receive hundreds of hours of specialized training and field experience.  Spectrum Security Group conducts therapeutic escorts through a cooperative effort with: The Center for Safe Youth.
